Thirty: A Personal Post // Gainesville Lifestyle Photography

I love birthdays. I make big deals out of birthdays. It's one day that you can call yours, that you can call all the shots on. This year for me is a mile(aka MAJOR)stone. 30. Three-Oh. Dang. I know that it's just another day for everyone and that it shouldn't make a difference being 29 the day before. Oh, but it does for me. I'm not sure what exactly happened or why I am making it such a big deal, but thirty is different. It just FEELS different, you know? Like now I'm officially grown, or something. :) Weird. No mid-life crisis either. Unless you count dying my hair an incredible shade of plum purple as a crisis, which I don't. :) I like this number though. I don't feel old or worried or depressed. I just feel kind of like, officially.

And at this age, I must say, that I am truly blessed by the people that God surrounds me with. I really do have the best friends in the world, a great church family, and a husband that I know loves me truly. My surprise party was a little "trip to Paris". Everything was styled by 2/3 (minus me)of Social Graces, Events by Design, and their helper bees. It was gorgeous! The weather was beautiful and the food delicious. Makes a girl feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Seriously though, it was a wonderful time and I couldn't have been happier unless I had actually gone to Paris itself!
